Discovering DALLE2 Azure AI Studio

Create Azure OpenAI Resource

First, log in to the Azure portal (https://portal.azure.com/)

Next, search for Azure OpenAI service in the search bar.

Click on the “Create Azure OpenAI” button.

Now, provide your Azure subscription information.

Create a new resource group called “retailRG”.

Select the Azure region as East US and name your resource as “retailopenai”.

Choose the pricing tier as Standard S0.

Click the “Next” button.

You will see a validation passed message on the screen. Click the “Create” button to proceed with the deployment.

The deployment process will begin and in just a minute or two, it will be successfully initialized.

Click the “Go to Resource” button to proceed.

Now, click the “Explore” button.

Exploring Azure AI Studio

A new window will open, showcasing Azure AI Studio.

Select the DALL-E playground and click the “Try it now” option.

In the prompt box, you can enter your desired input. For example, you can type “Astronaut wearing a gold jumpsuit and helmet on Mars. Photo-realistic.”

Click on the “Generate” button.

In the DALL-E preview, you have 5 capabilities for image generation:

1. Generate a new image
2. Download the image
3. Show the code
4. Copy prompt
5. Delete the image

For the same prompt, you can click the “Generate new image” option.

This image is not downloaded from any external resources, it is purely generated using DALL-E prompts.

By default, you will see the sample code which is written in Python and JSON. You can use this code in the code editor to further customize the generated images.
